Rethinking What We Throw Away
For years, only 20-liter plastic drums used for hygiene and nutrition products were recycled. Containers of other sizes were treated as general waste and sent to landfill.
Recognizing an opportunity to improve, the team reviewed this process and identified a straightforward solution: recycle every drum, regardless of size.
Today, all plastic drums used at Institut de Sélection Animale (ISA) and Hendrix Genetics Turkeys France are collected for recycling, helping divert significant volumes of waste from landfill.

While simple in concept, this initiative reflects a broader commitment to responsible resource management and reducing environmental impact.
By ensuring that all drums are recycled, the team is helping:
