Institut de Sélection Animale (ISA) is the layer breeding division of Hendrix Genetics. We deliver Grand Parent Stock (GPS) and Parent Stock (PS) to the worldwide layer industry, from operational centres on four continents.

Thanks to the excellent quality of our genetic programme, we have a variety of products available, fitting the needs of both egg producers and consumers. We are proud that around 50% of world egg production comes from the layers bred by our company.

Layer Breeding Products
We market our products under the well-known brand names ISA, Babcock, Shaver, Hisex, Bovans and Dekalb; they are recognized for their high production of prime quality table eggs. All six brands are available in both white and brown. Shaver and Bovans are also available as black feathered birds laying brown eggs. Thanks to our extended gene pool we are also able to create genetic solutions for specific market needs and conditions: examples are ISA Warren and Dekalb Amberlink.
