Visit of French Ambassador in the Netherlands

Wednesday 29 February 2012 Hendrix Genetics had the privilege to welcome His Excellency Mr. Pierre Ménat, French Ambassador in the Netherlands, who was accompanied by Mr. Bernard Boidin, (Conseiller Economique, Chef du Service Economique Ambassade de France aux Pays-Bas, see: www.ambafrance-nl.org) and Mrs. Frédérique Lefèvre (General Manager Invest in France, see: www.investinfrance.org).

Thijs Hendrix and Jean Marc Grelier, on behalf of Hendrix Genetics, welcomed the guests. The purpose of this visit was to discuss the cooperation between France and the Netherlands in and outside our company, and possibilities to further intensify the cooperation on economic, research and cultural level, against a common background of a shared vision for further European integration.

The visit was completed with a short visit to the “Miracle of Boxmeer” in the beautiful St Peter Basilique and a lunch in Restaurant Riche Boxmeer. Participants in the dinner remembered that the real spirit of the European Union is to unite its citizens. (“Nous ne coalisons pas des états, nous unissons des hommes”. Jean Monnet).
